The Epic Guide to Las Vegas

LasVegas28

Back in the summer of 2010, we went on a month long roadtrip in the USA with no less than 11 friends. It was right after my graduation and I think it’s safe to say it was an unforgettable vacation. Our first and last stop was Las Vegas, which despite its fake exterior had more to offer than I first thought. So here are some snaps and addresses from the few days we spent there, no tequila, no Elvis impersonators, I promise.

Our Las Vegas tips:

1. Cocktails at the Mandarin Oriental
Great views, great decor, great cocktails, what’s not to like?

2. Assouline Book shop
Absolutely love this bookshop. Think Taschen but even better. I picked up this wonderful book while I was there.

3. Crystals at Citycenter shopping mall

4. Mix Lounge at The Hotel

Amazing rooftop bar. We went for drinks here during happy hour and it was a great evening.

5. Love at The Mirage
As a Beatles fan, this show was a must and I wasn’t disappointed.

6. Hard Rock Cafe
Cliché, yes, but so much fun and quite impressive if I’m honest.

7. Swimming between sharks at the Golden Nugget
No worries, there is a window between you and the sharks. Believe me, I checked.

8. The Neon graveyard
This was number one on our Vegas wishlist and guess what, we didn’t make it. So, I guess we’ll just have to go back one day!
